Kym Ventola (she/her) is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Antioch
University New England. She specializes in supporting children, parents, caregivers, and
families through a relationship-centered, attachment-informed, and developmentally
responsive approach to behavioral health. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Kym brings
both professional and lived experience as a biological parent, adoptive parent, and former
foster parent. Her clinical training includes work as a behavioral health consultant (BHC)
within OB-GYN and pediatric primary care settings in New Hampshire, where she provided
brief assessments, consultation, and evidence-based interventions to support emotional
well-being, parenting, and early childhood development. Kym understands that caregiving
can be both joyful and challenging, and she is dedicated to supporting children and families
as they build connections, resilience, and confidence while navigating life’s challenges. She
values the unique cultural backgrounds, experiences, and strengths that each family brings
and approaches her work with respect, inclusivity, and responsiveness to each family’s
individual needs.
