Shannon Porter Mental Health Coordinator

Shannon Porter (she/her) is a mental health coordinator on our team. Shannon has a passion for supporting children and families in accessing mental health supports and services. Shannon graduated from Assumption College with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Shannon is currently enrolled in the Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Vermont State University and will be graduating in December of 2024. Shannon is native to Massachusetts where she grew up spending time at the beach. Shannon moved to Vermont in 2017 after volunteering for a year with an Americorps program, City Year, in San Antonio, Texas.  Shannon has experience navigating the Vermont mental health system of care, providing direct support to children and families, and helping clients reach their mental health treatment goals.
